Winter has left the building

Brienenoord brug

King Winter has left and his royal white cloak has disappeared with him. Maybe he will be back this season, or maybe he won't return in this decade to give another performance. The world is back to grey. Fortunately we still have our lively skies to entertain us.

  2. I wouldn't put any money on winter having disappeared just yet, my right hip tells me we might yet have another cold snap.

Great photos, you should post them on Google maps if you haven't done so already, almost made me feel like I was in Rotterdam.

KoA I nearly did, I started to, but then i was too lazy to remember my username or password (I think I did the whole business of the registration once already). Are you on Google Maps?

  4. We have had n0o snow this winter here in my part of Arkansas, but it is supposed to be below freezing for most of the week.

  5. Both lovely images.
I like the first one with that little clouds in the bright sky seen through the structure.

  6. I enjoyed these. The aerial shot had me dizzy! Can't seem to navigate that stuff--out of pure cowardice and foolishness.

  8. You were standing on the northbound bicycle lane next to the A16 on a bridge over the Nieuwe Maas looking East. (I think. :-)
