  1. Very nice! I think the cyclist gets much tired with that adverse wind!

  6. Xiwel taught me. here. If you look at it with a stopwatch in your hand, it doesn't really rain that much at all. But two minutes of hailstones on my head can disproportionately colour my memory of the afternoon.

  7. Hey Thyme, believe or not but your sketch was perfectly matched to our weather of yesterday: heavy rain + storm + even snow drops -> all happened only within 12 hours all day yesterday here. Now, a new day, Sunday. Look at skyies: it's a bright wonderful blue w/ out no any cloud. Do you have connection with our weather bureau, lol:)

  8. In the last 4 days we had several hailstorms per day. But the longest lasted only 1 minute.

Storms with precipitation are less common. Normally it rains more when the wind is less. In my area the wind is less in the morning => more rain. The winds are stronger at the of the afternoon = less rain. Unfortunately, I can't find official data backing my findings.

  9. Hi Nhal, no, I don't have a connection with the Turkish weather bureau - not yet. But who knows, they might be interested in my services in the future!

Xiwel: I know that when I used to cycle home every day from my old employer, when it had been raining most of the afternoon (corrugated roof - one notices when it is raining) when the time came to go home we waited untill the rain stopped, and it usually did.
