egg on my face?

Cycling in the rain - or in between rains for that matter... - may be good for your health but it certainly isn't glamorous.

  1. Honestly I've never tried cycling in the rain. Spring and summer are my times to enjoy cycling. So I'd like to believe in you:)

  3. The snow is gone. And I have never cycled uphill in the snow, I walk!

Besides we don't have any hills, just dykes and bridges to go up.

  4. The wet area moves up if you go faster. :-) My last hybride-bicyle has a too short fender, so I know the problem of a wet back (25km/h) and even a selfmade shower (30km/h). The splash doesn't reach me at a speed of 20km/h or less.

Thhis reminds me to search for a small splash protector.

  5. A mud guard should help I guess. But so funny, Thyme! Your drawings make me smile.
