Yes! I had to make the image a little brighter, because the contrast was very great.. the dark was very dark and the bright was very bright and a bit fuzzy. I am now trying without the "intelligent iso" setting. If it doesn't get any better, my next camera may be a Canon. (But I need to break this one first!)
Canon could be the best choice indeed. I bought my first Canon Powershot some years ago for 400 euros. Today a similar model costs about 200 euros! Yesterday in a shopping centre I saw the little Canon 460 (hope the number is right!), 7 megapixels, wide lcd, at only 89 euros: really nothing, considering the quality of that camera!
